Haule Haule

Haule Haule

It was fun! Sugam and me were the last couple of the Bollywood round and indeed the last couple to walk the ramp on a very successful fashion show. So you can call us the show stoppers, in a way. We had not done too much practice. I had wasted much of the days leading to the D-day arranging for Surinder Sahni’s attire. The ‘mooch’-hunt had me roaming about in all of Aurangabad for two days. Then the white non-fancy shoes … the yellow tiffin box … the just-loose simple shirt …. and the spectacles(which i never got).
In the end – it all paid off. And how! And wow! The opening tunes of Haule Haule still resonate in my ears. It was almost as good and popular as Desi Girl during freshers.

Synapse ‘09

March 8, 2009 at 1:35 pm (College)

Hi! So finally i’ve managed to sit down and open wordpress.com so that i can update the blog. I’ve been keeping hell lot of busy recently. The annual gathering of college called Synapse is underway and so i’m really busy. I’ve put up around 50 photos on my orkut account related to the fest, so you may as well check them out. Contrary to all my parents’ wishes and my resolutions and my friends’ plans, i participated extensively throughout the fest. In fact – and i fear – no one was as visible on and off stage than me. Too much for a guy that flunked his third sem tests.

Anyways. It was awesome actually. I don’t quite fully understand how the functions keep on getting better and bigger everytime – well ofcourse there were a couple of duds like Chocolate Day and Cultural Night – but the Rose Day where i was the Master of Compere and Fashion Show called ‘Poise’ in which i walked the ramp in two rounds were runaway hits. I was made to act Surinder Sahni from RNBDJ in Bollywood round of Poise and it was phenomenal i think. I enjoyed every bit of it. Then i was the anchor for the cultural night which was as i said a dud. The performances this time were ordinary. Tonight we have the Mr. MGM contest(which i lost last year) and tonight’ll be the first event in which i’ll be sitting on the better side of cultural hall!

And did you ask studies?
