Review of Ghajini

Masala is back and see who’s serving it… Aamir Khan! Expect the best now. Ghajini may actually be a new age ode to all those masala flicks full of comedy, drama and love that thankfully we’ve stopped growing up with! But since the masala is sprayed upon a racy, tight and non-chronological script – it works.

Its an action movie and the best thing about it is, other than Aamir’s dehshat, the not so over-the-top fight scenes. Brilliant execution is written all over the film. If You Can’t Impress the Audience with Anything Else, Then Confuse Them. The story is full of unfinished diaries, blemished goons, sexy medicos which are confused about their loyalities. Ok… it’s a good past time movie.

But it fails to generate the type of hysteria a masterpiece like Jaane Tu, Taare Zameen Par or RDB generated. It’s another RNBDJ – superduper hit, but not quite up there at the pinnaccle of filmdom.
